The New Administrative Capital

Project Overview

Executive Summary

The New Administrative Capital project, initiated in 2020 in New Cairo, Egypt, aims to establish a modern urban center to accommodate government functions, businesses, and residential areas, promoting economic growth and administrative efficiency.

Project Description

The mosque features a grand central dome surrounded by four smaller domes and two elegantly designed tall minarets. The interior is adorned with colorful Islamic decorations, creating a serene spiritual atmosphere. The main building occupies 2,135 square meters, allowing for approximately 1,800 worshippers, in addition to a spacious external courtyard.

Client Challenge

The primary challenge for the Egyptian government was to develop a large-scale urban project within a tight timeline and budget, while ensuring infrastructure and services were integrated effectively. Balancing rapid construction with quality and sustainability was essential to meet the needs of future inhabitants and government operations.
