GIECO Made it to Guinness World Records!
GIECO has constructed the tallest unsupported flagpole in the world and made it all the way to Guinness with a new record.
The record-breaking flagpole is 201.952 high, weighing 1000 tons of structural steel manufactured by GIECO steel plant in Alexandria, Egypt.
Mr. Motassem El Gharably, Chairman of GIECO, received the Guinness Award in a magnificent inauguration event that took place on the 25th of December 2021. He also praised the staff conducted efforts towards the completion of the new landmark in only 12 months period.

The flagpole project comes in light of the anticipated inauguration for the New Administrative Capital by mid 2022.
