Abu Air Sea Port
The first Egyptian city to be built entirely within an artificial island in the Mediterranean Sea.
The new city of Abu Qir is considered the first of the fifth generation cities to be built in Egypt in general, and Alexandria in particular. The main objective behind the new city of Abu Qir is to be a commercial investment city that includes the largest sea port on the northern coasts.
“Al-Gharabli Company” started the work on designing the new city in February 2021, then planning began on the ground in 2022. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2024. The total area of the city will reach 1,400 acres and it is surrounded by 9,200 meters long breakwaters. The city will include many Services and facilities such as commercial malls, high-end restaurants, hospitals, sports clubs, tourist areas, educational institutions, luxury hotels, and residential towers. We strive to become the “largest” port of Abu Qir in the Mediterranean and to raise the international classification of Egyptian ports to the first level.
